Splityaar

Terms of Service

Last updated 4 November 2026

By using Splityaar at splityaar.online you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

What Splityaar is

A tool for recording shared expenses and calculating who owes whom. It does not move money, process payments or provide financial, tax or legal advice. Settling up happens between you and your friends, outside the app.

Your account

  • You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others.
  • Your Splityaar code is meant to be shared with friends so they can add you to trips.

Your content

You own the trips and expenses you add. You allow us to store and display them to the members of those trips so the app works. Only add information you have the right to share, including other people’s names.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, abusive or harassing use, and no entering other people’s data without their knowledge.
  • No attempts to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users’ data.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Accuracy of calculations

Balances are computed from the expenses members enter. Please double-check amounts; we are not responsible for errors in what is entered or for disagreements between trip members.

Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. We may update these terms; continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Splityaar at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
